After a childhood living on the Front Range of Colorado, and developing an affinity for exploration and adventure in the natural world, Andy moved to Durango Colorado to pursue a degree in Physics from Fort Lewis College and follow a passion for the outdoors. A personal and professional career in whitewater rafting and kayaking during and after college fostered a new line of outdoor passion and curiosity – Rivers. After completing a Masters degree at Colorado State University specifying in Hydraulic Engineering, Stream Restoration, and River Mechanics, Andy joined the water resources consulting sector and has been designing and analyzing river, stream, and wetland systems ever since.
When not applying his river skills to project designs, you may find him doing “personal research” as a kayaker, rafter and fisherman on the local Crystal, Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers near Carbondale, Colorado or exploring the mountain trails and ski slopes with wife and new daughter.
