ERC has provided ongoing enviromental consulting services to the Town of Telluride since 2005. The Town contracted ERC in 2008 to provide a complete environmental assessment of the approximate 570 acre public open space Valley Floor Property.  The Town’s approach was to prepare a comprehensive assessment driven first by scientific data, but also one open and interactive with the public. The final Environmental Report provided the Town with a framework for intelligent, long-term management of the Property. The Environmental Report included a complete inventory of resources on the Property including: vegetation communities, wetland habitats (including formal wetland delineation and jurisdictional determination), aquatic resources, threatened, endangered and species of concern, wildlife use, mine tailings, soils, geology, groundwater, surface water, floodplains, irrigation facilities and historic items.
