Completed a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) following the Reach 28 Stream Restoration project.  The project involved realigning the stream channel to a more natural and resilient planform.  ERC worked closely with FEMA, the Big Thompson Watershed Coalition, and Larimer County to accurately map the post-project floodplain and floodway.  Work included developing a hydraulic model from as-built survey data, documenting the modeling approach and comparisons to effective and Colorado Hazard Mapping Program (CHAMP) data, and presenting to the Larimer County Flood Review Board.  ERC also engaged with property owners and stakeholders to provide notification of changes to effective floodplain and floodway.  Mapping became effective in summer 2022.
