Heather Thompson holds B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University
and a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and is a Registered Professional Engineer
in Colorado. Ms. Thompson is a senior water resources engineer specializing in water resources projects that
involve surface and groundwater modeling, planning, and hydrologic analyses. Her experience and qualifications include
water resources and environmental permitting projects, development and operations of water allocation models and
yield analysis, water supply planning and drought analysis, and water rights evaluations.
Heather enjoys spending time with her family doing many of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer including
mountain biking, trail running, rafting, and skiing. During the winter she spends a lot of time skiing and snow boarding
and tries to go on a hut trip every other year.
