Ben’s experience covers a broad range of engineering disciplines including water resources
engineering, environmental remedial design, brownfields reclamation, and construction management. Ben received
a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Before joining ERC, Ben worked in
the hazardous waste remediation field designing and implementing treatment solutions for environmental clean up
sites throughout the United States. Ben’s specialties include hydrologic and hydraulic evaluation and design,
stream assessments, construction management and oversight, and site inspections.
Ben’s interest in the environment developed at a young age while enjoying the many opportunities for outdoor
activities near his hometown of Punxsutawney, PA. Ben spent the majority of his winters skiing and snowboarding
with his family, and enjoyed camping and fishing western Pennsylvania trout streams during the summers. Today
Ben can be found with his wife Beth, and their dog Bob at their home in Nederland, CO. When he isn’t looking for
fresh turns on a Colorado mountain, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, frequenting live bluegrass
shows, fly fishing, camping, and trying to play the mandolin.
