Twin Creeks Mine Water Balance
Project Highlights:
Client:
Newmont
Twin Creeks Mine
Location: Potosi District, Humboldt County, Nevada a conglomeration of heap leach pads, process facilities, ponds and water supply sources
Developed a probabilistic water balance model
Linked several of the pads together to predict the solution fluctuations within the system
Complicated pad expansions during active leaching/closures concurrently in the system
GoldSim
generated probabilistic model outcomes defining ranges of potential storage requirements
Requirement models access possible risks and define contingency operations for upset condition
Locations in Evergreen and Boulder, CO
(303) 679-4820
