Project Highlights:
- Client: The Perfect Drift Fly Fishing Club Elevation 6,300 feet AMSL
- Drainage: 7/8 of a mile of the North Fork of the South Platte River near Pine, Colorado
- Ease the effects of transport water to the metro Denver area during times of peak water use, resulting in very high summer and extremely low winter flows
- Enhanced the river by creating quality trout habitat for year-round angling, creating habitat variety by taking advantage of the varying stream types to provide large boulder pocket water, sweeping runs, big glassy slow water, shallow riffles and over-wintering pools
- Completed in a manner that is natural in appearance and function to compliment the natural setting and provide a range of experiences that is both rewarding to the novice fly fisher and challenging to expert anglers
